Manchester United Fans’ Panic As David De Gea Suffers Finger Injury

The UK’s Mirror newspaper has reported that Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United might have a new defensive issue to add to the injuries to Marcus Rojo and Phil Jones – David De Gea missed Friday’s Spain training session after dislocating his finger.

De Gea has been playing well for United, despite the team’s poor start, and has attracted interest from Real Madrid, who are expected to make an offer in the January transfer window.

It is not known whether he will be sent home from the Spanish training camp yet and will undergo more assessment before making that decision, although he is almost certain to miss Spain’s European Championship qualifier with Belarus on Saturday evening.
