New Balance may have taken a big step into the football market by signing Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey to a boot sponsorship deal.
It was reported that the shoe giants – who as yet represent no high-profile football players – had been fighting it out with Warrior to provide the playmaker’s boots.

He had played with all-white brand-less boots over the last few games for his club side.
But if his latest appearance for the Welsh national side against Belgium tonight is anything to go by then New Balance have won.
