Joachim Low Urges Lukas Podolski to Move from Arsenal

Germany manager Joachim Low has urged 29 year old Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski to leave Arsenal in order to kick-start his career again.

Low has said that “he needs to play competitive games. Sometimes he lacks the physical condition to play the full 90 minutes. I’m aware that he doesn’t play a lot right now for Arsenal. He has to think about his situation.”

Despite massive promise, Podolski has struggled to set the Premiership alight since his move to the Emirates in 2012 and with Arsene Wenger placing more faith in Danny Welbeck, his chances are becoming increasingly limited to shine and grab his place in the Arsenal line-up.

Low is going to do his bit to improve the Arsenal man’s fitness by confirming that he will start against Gibraltar in their European Championship qualifier this evening in Berlin.
