With the majority of his Chelsea squad away on international duty, Jose Mourinho took some time out to watch the NFL at Wembley on Sunday and he was in attendance as Andy Murray lost to Roger Federer in the ATP World Tour Finals in London on Thursday night.
The Stamford Bridge manager was caught in the crowd by Sky Sports cameras and was asked for his view on Murray after the Scot suffered a devastating 6-0 6-1 defeat to end his season on a terrible note.
And he insists a bad loss can sometimes spur people or teams on to bigger things – and he hopes that’s the case with Murray next season:

Mourinho did not comment on recent criticisms from Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos after he slammed both Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas before taking a back-handed swipe at the Portuguese coach himself.
