Spare a thought for Chris Smalling this morning.
He’s also attracting criticism from all angles – including Virgin Trains, who sent a brilliant tweet earlier today offering the United defender a one-way ticket out of Manchester.
Smalling saw red five minutes before half-time in yesterday’s clash for picking up bookings after scything down James Milner shortly after jumping in front of Joe Hart at a punt.
It was a silly sending off for the United youngster and one boss Louis van Gaal was heavily critical of.
Now for Virgin Trains to have their say:
Hi Chris Smalling. Looking to get out of Manchester? We've got tickets to London Euston from £12.50. One way, of course… #MUFC

Bravo, Virgin Trains. Whoever was behind this tweet deserves a pay rise.
