Mario Balotelli Might Find Anfield Exit Door In January

Reports in the Italian press today suggest that Napoli might be lining up an offer to take troubled Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli on a six-month loan deal brokered by his agent, Mino Raiola.

Brendan Rodgers has already announced that Liverpool would be doing very little in the transfer market in January, but taking this salary off his books for six months might just give the headroom he needs to strengthen his strike-force as Daniel Sturridge looks set to return to first team action and following his side’s impressive 4-1 win against an in-form Swansea team; arguably their best performance of the season so far.

Rodgers will be hoping that the start of 2015 brings better fortunes for the Anfield side and the departure of Balotelli won’t do any harm in signalling a new beginning.
