Nike Launch Incredible New Collection Ahead of Super Bowl XLIX

Super Bowl XLIX is just 17 days away – and Nike have launched their new collection dedicated to sport’s biggest match in perfect time.

Ahead of the clash between the two conference champions at the Arizona Cardinals’ University of Phoenix Stadium, the sportswear giants will kit out both teams with the NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform.

It’s billed as a “complete system of dress with Nike Pro Combat baselayer options working seamlessly with the jersey and pants” by Nike.

Any Nike-sponsored players on either team – such as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England’s Tom Brady – will wear the Nike Vapor Untouchable cleat in their team colour.

Nike explain all the equipment as the latest in innovation – and fans will be able to get their hands on the gear when put on sale.

The company said:

The NFL Nike Super Bowl XLIX Collection extends from on-field equipment to include sideline, training and lifestyle apparel and footwear.

The Nike Alpha Fly Rush Jacket – Super Bowl Edition and Nike Tech Windrunner – Super Bowl Edition provide athletes with lightweight, unencumbered protection from the elements.

A training shoe quintet — the Super Bowl Edition of the Nike Free Trainer 3.0, Nike Air Max Effort, Nike Fingertrap Max Trainer, Nike Lunar TR 1 and Nike Field General — reminds athletes that the road to the Super Bowl begins on the practice field.

The Packers, Patriots, Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks will fight for a place at the Super Bowl this weekend in the championship games.
