VIDEO: Furious Blyth Goalkeeper Reacts After Being Taunted By Birmingham Fans During FA Cup Clash

Blyth Spartans looked like they were set to take one of the biggest scalps of the season against Birmingham on Saturday.

After taking a 2-0 lead in the first half, the minnows were on the verge of knocking out the Championship side at their tiny little ground in the North East.

But a horror show of a second half allowed Gary Rowett’s side back into it – and the travelling support were quick to let the home players know it.

Blyth goalkeeper Peter Jeffries received a torrid time of it between the sticks as the Birmingham fans hurled abuse from behind the goal.

Such was the abuse that the goalkeeper actually reacted furiously, fuelling the fire even further.

But in true FA Cup spirit, the stopper and the visiting fans ended the day with a mutual applause.

Poor lad!
