VIDEO: Is Peterhead Striker Rory McAllister’s Scottish Football’s Dimitar Berbatov?

Scottish football fans will be aware of Rory McAllister and his lower league goalscoring exploits.

The Peterhead striker has scored 139 goals in five-and-a-half years across the bottom two divisions north of the border.

His first spell at Brechin saw him score 51 times in 80 appearances but the full-time plumber refused offers from top-flight clubs to sign for Peterhead in 2011.

And he’s carried on his lethal form in front of goal, hitting the net 87 times in 135 games.

But it wasn’t his finishing touch which got him plaudits at the weekend, it was his beautiful Dimitar Berbatov-esque assist for midfielder Jamie Stevenson in their 2-1 victory over Stirling Albion which got us purring:

He even manages to nutmeg the Stirling defender. Berbatov, eat your heart out!
