Katy Perry paid tribute to Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch in her Super Bowl press conference today, answering two questions with: I’m just here so I won’t get fined.
The pop megastar is performing the Super Bowl XLIX half-time show on Sunday and spoke to the media ahead of the big game.
She gave an insight into what her performance will be like and her football knowledge.
But she got laughs all round the room as she answered two questions with “I’m just here so I won’t get fined”, referencing Lynch’s press conference on Tuesday which went viral after he answers four-and-a-half minute’s worth of questions with the same answer.
