PIC: Celtic Turn Stadium’s Walkway Into European Cup Memorial Ahead Of Europa League Clash With Inter Milan

Celtic take on Serie A giants Inter Milan in the knockout stages of the Europa League tomorrow night, in what is sure to be one of the most important fixtures in the club’s season.

The match will of course hold a special significance to the Hoops supporters, as their side won the European Cup against the Italian outfit in 1967.

In celebration of the event and to mark the club’s achievement, the Scottish champions have transformed ‘The Celtic Way’.

The walkway, which leads to the entrance to Celtic Park, is emblazoned with ‘Spirit of 67…we meet again’.

Celtic uploaded these images to their official Facebook account and asked fans to Tweet photos from Celtic Way tomorrow night using #Spiritof67:

 

Celtic’s official YouTube channel also uploaded this video showing Roberto Mancini taking an Inter Milan training session in the stadium tonight:
