Real Madrid will enter a critical part of the season without three of their top stars in Sergio Ramos, James Rodriguez and Luka Modric.
Ramos tore his hamstring during Madrid’s 2-1 win over Sevilla on the 4th of February, while Modric picked up a thigh injury in November which ruled him out for three months.
Rodriguez, who was signed by Madrid after an impressive World Cup for Columbia, is also on the sidelines after he suffered a fracture in his right foot.
So with all three players desperately trying to regain fitness, Rodriguez decided to give his followers an update on his progress along with that of his injured teammates.
He did so by posting this selfie, a post which was later shared by Real Madrid’s official page:
It remains unclear when the trio will return to competitive action for Los Blancos, but Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping it’s sooner rather than later.
