Fastlane is the last pay-per-view before Wrestlemania so there is plenty at stake for wrestling’s elite.
Here, we take a look at what could be in store later tonight:

Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan in a No.1 Contender’s Match
For the second consecutive year, Daniel Bryan has managed to work his way into a match for the right to fight in the WrestleMania event – despite not winning the Royal Rumble. And with a fan reaction that is unrelenting, having the former American Dragon lose would come at the risk of mutiny. But what of Roman Reigns? He’s poised to take over as wrestling’s premier name, can you see him falling in this match-up?
It’s hard to see either wrestler losing this match and, for this reason, I’m predicting a draw – setting up a triple threat main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Inserting Bryan into the main event would save Reigns from a savaging in San Francisco next month, tempering what is sure to be a hardcore, ‘smart’ crowd.
So, whether both guys’ shoulders are on the mat, it all ends in double disqualification or otherwise – this match will not have a definitive outcome.

Rusev [c] vs. John Cena for the United States Championship
I predict that Super Cena will be the one to end the undefeated streak of the artist formerly known as Alexander… but not at Fast Lane.
Expect some sort of disqualification or interference that allows Rusev to hold onto his title and claim of never being pinned/submitted.
Prediction: Rusev retains

Nikki Bella [c] vs. Paige for the Divas Championship
With Brie Bella at ringside, it’s hard to see the queen of the scream picking up the victory for a third reign as Divas champ. I can see Nikki Bella holding onto the title in order to defend it at WrestleMania, possibly against a returning AJ Lee.
Prediction: Nikki Bella retains

Bad News Barrett [c] vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship
BNB returned from injury and picked up exactly as he left off – as Intercontinental Champ. I don’t see Dean Ambrose being the one to end this renewed reign, not so quickly anyway.
Dean Ambrose has suffered loss after loss in high profile matches over the past six months and it’s unlikely that his luck will change at Fast Lane.
Prediction: Bad News Barrett retains

The Usos [c] vs. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd for the Tag Team Championship
Tyson and Cesaro are merely keeping the No. 1 contendership warm for the up-and-coming The Ascension.
The duo from the wasteland, though unimpressive so far, are being positioned as the next dominant tag team in WWE and no one is taking the titles off Jimmy and Jey before they do.
Prediction: The Usos retain

Goldust vs. Stardust
Goldust has been pushing for a WrestleMania match against his baby brother for years now and this may just be the catalyst for that.
Should Goldust pick up the victory over Stardust on Sunday, could Cody Rhodes return from the cosmos for his brother’s retirement match at the big event next month? I think so.
Prediction: Goldust wins
