5 Things Bad and 5 Things Good About Wrestlemania XXX

It’s finally here – WrestleMania 31 is just hours away.

Here, we take a look back at last year’s event and rundown five bad and five good moments from WrestleMania XXX.

Bad

1. That Infamous Moment When Undertaker’s Streak Ended.

Watching it live last year I couldn’t quite believe the referee’s hand came down for the three count.

The biggest legacy the legendary Undertaker had to his name, gone. Gone to a part timer of all people. It was a sickening moment at the time.

2. Cesaro Winning The Battle Royal

Well not so much him winning it more the misleading thought that the WWE were about to push Cesaro.

I myself am not a huge Cesaro fan. He’s a great technician with super strength but I just think he misses something and is more suited for tag wrestling.

That being said, he had a WrestleMania moment last year which in my opinion was wasted as WWE did not really act on it well enough.

3. Legends Being Squashed

I was a huge fan of The Shield so to see them squash The New Age Outlaws and Kane was rather disappointing in two ways.

It is not nice seeing legends squashed like that. Yes use them to put over younger talent but doing it while giving them some credibility is by far the best way.

The second part of my disappointment was, as a Shield Fan, I wanted to watch them in action for more than three minutes.

4. JR Not Being On Commentary

There are some moments in WWE which would just be a million times better if Jim Ross was calling it.

Daniel Bryan’s world heavyweight championship title win was one of those moments.

For me Michael Cole’s commentary got so annoying I had to turn the volume off during Bryan’s celebrations.

Also that moment Stone Cold Steve Austin returned would have been so much better if JR was commentator, but he wasn’t and for me that’s one of the bad things about Wrestlemania 30.

5. Bray Wyatt Not Going Over

I must make it very clear I am not a Cena hater I’m actually a fan of John Cena, however Bray Wyatt not winning the match was quite annoying because that win would have helped him so much instead he was beat and his credibility went in a downward spiral until his feud with Ambrose several months later. It was a very good match in my opinion just not the correct booking for me.
