6 Questions Heading Into Raw After WrestleMania

6 Questions Heading Into Raw After WrestleMania

Last night, at WrestleMania 31, WWE gave wrestling fans one of the greatest nights in recent memory. It was the culmination of a year in sports entertainment but for every storyline that was closed, just as many new ones began.

Here are 6 questions we want answered on tonight’s Monday Night Raw

By Kevin O’Donnell – Lead WWE Writer – @kevinodonnell91

1. Will Undertaker Speak?

Last night, The Undertaker finally returned after his shocking and controversial defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar, almost an entire year ago. The Dead Man returned to form at WrestleMania, overcoming the New Face of Fear, Bray Wyatt, and taking his WrestleMania tally to an unbelievable 22 – 1. But will we hear from ‘Taker about the end of The Streak and what lies ahead for the Phenom?

2. Rock vs. Triple H?

Though Rock’s appearance at WrestleMania 31 wasn’t a big surprise (his mother was sitting in the front row, for God’s sake), most of us were expecting him to get involved with Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. But when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were ‘dissing’ the people, the People’s Champ came out to set things straight. And with the help of Ronda Rousey, the Authority were sent packing, whetting the appetite for a match between the old rivals in the near future.

3. Who’s Challenging For The Title?

Seth Rollins shocked the world last night when he became the first man to ever cash in Money in the Bank at WrestleMania, turning the main event into a triple threat match and stealing the World Heavyweight Championship by pinning the challenger Roman Reigns. But who will Rollins first title defence be against? Will Lesnar demand his rematch or will Orton feel he’s in line for a shot after defeating the new champ earlier in the night?

4. What’s Next For Sting?

The icon Sting finally, 14 years after the demise of WCW, made his debut in WWE against the COO Triple H at WrestleMania. Putting in a performance you would never expect from a near-60 year-old man, Sting failed to overcome the Cerebral Assassin as the Monday night wars were finally put to bed. Will Sting ride off into the sunset after finally fighting at WrestleMania or is the Vigilante just getting started on the other side of the fence?

5. Will Roman Reigns Fade Away?

Only two months ago, Roman Reigns looked like he was all set to become the face of WWE but negative fan reaction seems to have stalled the big Samoan’s mammoth push. Despite rocking the Beast Incarnate in the latter stages of the match, Reigns was dominated in the main event last night with his former Shield brother being the one to take the limelight on the grand stage. Will Reigns recover after defeat on the Grandest Stage of Them All?

6. Better Than ‘Mania?

Last night, WWE took what was a mediocre build and delivered one of the greatest nights in the history of professional wrestling. But as past years have proven, the Raw after WrestleMania is often better than the big show itself. From Yes chants to Fandango-ing, from Lesnar returning to Ziggler cashing in, post-‘Mania Raws are a spectacle in their own right.
