Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has purchased a small town in the United States… and renamed it ‘Suplex City.’

Lesnar acquired Maple Plain, Minnesota from local German-American businesswoman April Wurst for a sum reportedly in the region of $2.7 million.
The town — which has a population of just 1,768, as of the most recent census — will now be known as Suplex City, Minnesota, a spokesperson for Lesnar has announced.
Mayor of Suplex City, Roger Hackbarth said: “It’s a great honour to be so closely associated with an athlete the caliber of Brock Lesnar.
“The name change will take some getting used to for most folks but it’s sure to put us on the map.
“Everyone will have heard of Suplex City, Minnesota.”
Lesnar once owned property in the Maple Plain area before selling the home for $750,000 last year but is now seeking to return to the area with his wife, Rena Marlette Lesnar.
Lesnar recently lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship despite dominating challenger Roman Reigns with a series of suplexes. Lesnar goaded his opponent by exclaiming: “Suplex City, b*tch.”
Many thought this to be an off-the-cuff remark at the time but it now appears to have been foreshadowing by the professional wrestler known as ‘The Beast Incarnate.’
Okay, so maybe Brock hasn’t actually bought a small US town and re-named it Suplex City… this was all just a brilliant April Fools by ourselves here at Talking Baws.
But c’mon, you all wish it were true!
And personally, I’m quite distraught “April Wurst”, isn’t a real person…
