Carlo Ancelotti says he enjoys watching Cristiano Ronaldo in games more than he has any other player in his managerial career.
The Real Madrid manager has spoken previously about how Zinedine Zidane – who assisted Ancelotti to the Champions League last season – was the player who made him enjoy training sessions most.
And it’s now Ronaldo who gives him most pleasure watching games.
The Madrid superstar has hit 43 goals in all competitions this season and won the Ballon d’Or for an outstanding 2014 in a white shirt.
He may be struggling at the moment as Real find it difficult to overcome their problems on the pitch.
But that doesn’t change anything for Ancelotti – he still holds Ronaldo in high regard.
Asked if Cristiano was getting close to Zidane for enjoyment, he said:
Yes, of course! Zidane was the player that made me enjoy training sessions the most, but Ronaldo is the one I have enjoyed the most when it comes to matches.
As I said, he scores in every single game!

Ancelotti will be hoping Ronaldo can bring him some more enjoyment this weekend when his side travel to Barcelona hoping to record a big El Clasico win.
