Gareth Bale On Manchester United Link: You Never Know In Football

Gareth Bale has refused to rule himself out of a move to Manchester United, stating ‘you never know in football.’

The Welshman’s season hasn’t been anything to ride home about compared to his last, and booing and hissing from the Real Madrid fans certainly won’t help his confidence or desire to stay. His car was even vandalised after the El Classico derby. following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of rivals Barcelona.

Reports linking Bale with a return to England just don’t seem to be going away, and if ESPN reporter Jackson Douglas’s tweet is anything to go by, Bale’s move to Manchester United might well be on the cards:

Bale would be a welcome addition at Old Trafford as Louis van Gaal continues to build his squad, in an attempt to bring back the glory days of the past. Manchester United may not be the only club interested in the world’s most expensive player but it certainly looks like he may be on his way back to the premiership after a torrid second season in La Liga.

His quality was on display tonight whilst on international duty with Wales. Bale netted twice to help his country to a 3-0 victory away to Israel.

This freekick was the pick of the bunch:
