VIDEO: Three Goals, Three Red Cards And One Absolute Screamer, This UEFA Youth League Match Between Manchester City And Roma Had It All

As far as the credentials for a pulsating UEFA Youth Cup match go, this game between Manchester City and Roma ticked all the right boxes.

City’s youth squad, managed by Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, were unbeaten in the competition but travelled to Rome without several key players.

Roma would go on to win 2-1, but the scoreline failed to do this contest any justice.

Things got rolling when City captain Kean Bryan was sent off on the hour mark, a decision which gave the Italian side the encouragement to score their first goal.

City right-back Jack Bryne joined Bryan after collecting his second booking, before Lorenzo Pellegrini scored a magnificent goal to double Roma’s lead.

Defender Elio Capradossi was also sent off during the match after he conceded the penalty which gave City their goal:
