Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Calum Chambers: You’re Slow.. Jefferson Montero Left You For Dead

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain doesn’t hold back telling his team-mates what he thinks – and Calum Chambers is the next player to feel his wrath.

During a car journey to training, the Arsenal YouTube channel caught their conversation about Chambers working on his running technique.

But the ex-Southampton defender barely had a chance to explain how he was getting on before The Ox chipped in with a harsh assessment of his performance against Swansea in November.

Chambers was given a torrid time by pacey Swans winger Jefferson Montero and could do nothing to prevent Arsenal from losing 2-1.

And Oxlade-Chamberlain believes it was his fellow England international’s lack of pace which caused that – he just doesn’t put it as nicely we have.

You can see The Ox give his brutal assessment of Chambers’ pace here:

Chambers will be hoping he doesn’t have to face Montero again this season if this is the stick he’s going to take from his team-mates.
