John Terry has revealed his nominations for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the PFA Young Player of the Year awards.
The Chelsea defender posted his ballot paper on his official Instagram page which also revealed his Team of the Year.
The former England international has nominated Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho for the Player of the Year award and Tottenham striker Harry Kane for the Young Player of the Year gong.
Coutinho has scored four goals and created 40 chances in 28 Premier League appearances so far this season, while having a pass accuracy of 80% and a shot accuracy of 51%.
No one should be surprised with Terry’s nomination of Kane for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
Kane has netted 22 goals in the Premier League this campaign after making a terrific breakthrough under Mauricio Pochettino.
The 21-year-old striker was also handed his first international cap for England and scored just 79 seconds after entering the field.
