Former Celtic striker Georgios Samaras has paid the ultimate tribute to the club as he got the number nine tattooed on his finger in memory of his time at Celtic Park.
The former Heerenveen and Manchester City player joined Celtic on loan in the January transfer window of 2008 before making the move permanent in the summer.
And the rest is history as the big frontman went on to enjoy six successful years in the west of Glasgow becoming a fans favourite with outstanding performances in the Champions League and Scottish Premiership
Now, plying his trade at Al-Hilar in the Saudi Premier League on loan from West Brom, Samaras has shown Celtic fans that he’ll never forget his time at Parkhead as he got the number nine tattooed on his finger.
