John Terry Pokes Fun at Rory McIlroy Over Niall Horan Caddie Appearance

Chelsea defender John Terry has taken to Instagram to wish his favourite golfer good luck ahead of today’s Masters.

However, Terry opted not to go down the same path as Wayne Rooney by wishing tournament favourite Rory McIlroy the best of wishes.

Instead, the Chelsea captain poked fun at the world number one over One Direction star Niall Horan’s appearance as his caddie.

McIlroy took to the course for yesterday’s Par 3 competition with the Irish popstar carrying his bag in what is sure to have won him the support of half the female population under 16 years old.

And Stamford Bridge legend Terry decided to mock that decision as he wished Justin Rose the best of luck while also adding in that he hopes the former X Factor contestant is not by his side.

The 34-year-old posted the following photo with the caption:

Good luck @justinprose99 in the Masters.
I hope @niallhoran isn’t your caddy
