Shota Arveladze Can’t Get Over THAT Charlie Adam Strike

Shota Arveladze took to Twitter to congratulate former Rangers teammate Charlie Adam on his wonder-strike against Chelsea today.

The Georgian’s reaction was hilarious and went as far to tell Adam it’s the best goal he’s ever seen! The pair played together during a trophy laden spell at Rangers under Alex McLeish and it seems they’ve remained friends ever since by the wording of the tweets:  

  

Adam remained humble despite Shota’s excitement but the Georgian wasn’t for holding back:  

When the Stoke midfielder tried to return the compliment Arveladze wouldn’t have it:  

  

Charlie Adam’s wonder-strike came second’s before half time at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea leading the game 1-0. It may be hailed as one of the greatest goals the premiership has ever seen and certainly one for the Scotsman’s career montage. This was  Adam’s 50th goal and he won’t forget it in a hurry:
