VIDEO: Cardiff City Flop Andreas Cornelius Suffers Stomach-Churning Leg Break

Ex-Cardiff striker Andreas Cornelius may struggle to ever reach his full potential after he suffered a horrendous leg break for FC Copenhagen tonight.

The 22-year-old was signed by the Blue Birds for £8 million back in 2013 but failed to score a single goal for the club.

However, despite his poor spell in Wales, the frontman settled well when he returned to his native Denmark last year.

But it seems all of Cornelius’ hard work has been torn to shreds, after the Dane suffered what could be a career-ending injury against Silkeborg:

Yep, we are pretty sure ankles aren’t supposed to bend that way…

Silkeborg manager Kim Poulsen said: “”It was terrible to look at. It is a shame for FCK, but it is most sorry for Andreas, who has a long way to go now.”

Initial reports claim Cornelius’ ankle was “badly dislocated”, however it would appear he faces an uphill battle to return to full-time action this year.
