It was an eventful night for Internacional defender Fabricio yesterday as he was sent off after flipping his middle fingers to jeering fans during their 1-0 win over Ypiranga.
The Brazilian full-back was attacking the away goal on the 63rd-minute when he decided to down tools and take his anger out on his own support
We can’t quite understand why given there’s no audible booing from the crowd.
But as soon as he stops playing – and then throws up his middle fingers in the direction of a section of supporters – the jeers ring round.
Fabricio was then given his marching orders by the referee before throwing one almighty strop, which included him tossing his jersey to the ground and aiming a few more gestures at the fans:

What’s more amazing about this reaction is that Internacional aren’t exactly under pressure in the league – they lead Brazil’s Gaucho 1 by two points after 14 games.
And Fabricio is no stranger to the atmosphere at one of the country’s biggest clubs.
He’s now in his fifth season with Internacional – but obviously something got to him last night.
