Last week, Chelsea captain John Terry picked Philippe Coutinho as his PFA Player of the Year.
And for those who doubt the former England skippers choice, you’re about to have your mind blown into several tiny pieces.
Yes, the Brazilian maestro was at his silky best this evening as Liverpool took on Premier League strugglers Newcastle United.
As is usually the case, Coutinho dazzled with every touch and had the opposition defence at his mercy on more than one occasion.
But this time around, the 22-year-old sent four different Newcastle players into a different time zone with a filthy backheel:

Unfortunately, Coutinho’s teammate couldn’t make the most of the opportunity which understandably left the former Inter Milan ace disappointed.
But then again, if Liverpool’s full team was on the same wave length as Coutinho this term, Brendan Rodgers’ side would probably sit atop the Premier League table.
