Arsenal Fans Catch Carl Jenkinson Sleeping on a Flight to Greece

Cheeky Arsenal fans caught Carl Jenkinson sleeping on a flight to Greece as the defender started his holidays after a tough season on loan with West Ham.

The English full-back largely impressed during his spell with West Ham, helping them to a 12th-placed finish in the Premier League.

And after making 36 appearances under Sam Allardyce, Jenkinson deserves a rest.

But it looks like he couldn’t wait to relax as he fell asleep on a plane journey to Greece earlier today.

Two fans sitting in front of the former Charlton man managed to grab a selfie as they set off, but were really just trying to capture Jenkinson catching some flies:

Brilliant.

Arsenal fans will be hoping Jenkinson can reproduce his strong form at Upton Park this season when he rejoins Arsene Wenger’s squad for next term.

Hector Bellerin and Mathieu Debuchy have been regulars at right back this season, but the former is still inexperienced while the latter has been hampered by injuries and Jenkinson can provide added competition.
