While every man and his dog watched Lionel Messi dismantle Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, Petr Cech wasn’t tuning into the football.
Instead, the Chelsea goalkeeper was back in Czech Republic to watch Canada face Sweden in the Ice Hockey World Championships being held in Prague.
Cech – who appears to be approaching the end of his Stamford Bridge career – attended as the Chelsea players got some time off following their Premier League title win at the weekend.
Canada beat Sweden 6-4 to stretch their lead at the top of Preliminary Round Group A to four points.
And Cech caught up with NHL star Sidney Crosby post-match for a quick picture.
So it’s a selfie all hockey fans could only dream of as Cech bumped into a sportsman undoubtedly more famous than him.
