Jerome Boateng has been the butt of almost all internet jokes after the way Lionel Messi dribbled past him with ease to score Barcelona’s second goal against Bayern Munich last night.
The German defender lost his footing and ended up on his backside as the Barcelona man beat him before chipping over Manuel Neuer.
Messi had already given Barca the lead through a powerful shot from the edge of the box and Neymar followed up his second goal by shooting through Neuer’s legs for a third.
But the moment of the night came on that second goal – and those who watched it probably won’t let Boateng forget about it in a hurry.
Some even went to the trouble of changing his Wikipedia page so his Place of Death – usually only available if the person is actually dead – was the Camp Nou, Barcelona, Spain:
