Luis Suarez hailed Lionel Messi as ‘the best in the world’ after seeing him effectively end Bayern Munich’s Champions League hopes on his own last night.
The Barcelona superstar scored two and set up the other for Neymar as the Spanish giants beat Bayern 3-0 on Pep Guardiola’s return to the Camp Nou.
It means Barca travel to Munich next week with a three-goal advantage and, on this form, look unlikely to surrender that in the second-leg.
Suarez didn’t score, but was happy to hail King Messi post-match on Twitter.
Vamossss! Good victory and great work of the whole team! I leave a picture with the best in the world!

Juve lead Real Madrid 2-1 from the other semi-final first-leg as they travel to Spain for the return of their tie.
If both teams can hold on to their leads it would set up a Juve-Barca final in Berlin on June 6.
