Celtic women’s team reached the third round of the Scottish Cup in ridiculous fashion today after beating Dundee City 29-0.
It’s not quite record-breaking, but it’s an incredible performance from the Hoops female team.
From what we can see, four players scored three goals or more – with one hitting seven and two others finding the net five times each.
Ruesha Littlejohn was the women to score seven while Chloe Craig and Mairead Fulton both got five on a brilliant afternoon for David Haley’s side.
The other scorers were Niamh Johnston – who got a hat-trick – Ellis Dalgliesh, Kelly Clark, Kylla Sjoman, two-goal Kirstin McGuire, Sam McManus, Joanne Paton and Danielle Connolly.
And the other goal came from a Dundee City player – the less we say about them the better on what must have been an utterly dismal day in Glasgow:

Ronny Deila’s side could only dream of putting in a performance like this one.
