Creepy! Lionel Messi And Diego Godin Were Completely In Sync During Copa America Clash

In a scene reminiscent to a glitch from FIFA, Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Uruguay’s Diego Godin were perfectly in sync during their Copa America encounter last night.

Argentina edged the contest 1-0 thanks to a 56th minute headed-goal from Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, however it was a moment of absolute weirdness which caught the eye on social media.

Yes, Godin and Messi appeared to be completely synchronised in their movements.

Both players were spotted pausing to take a breath before bending over, looking up and then looking down again at the exact same time.

Now this is just creepy:

Maybe Messi is a robot after all…

Barcelona star Messi has enjoyed a rivalry with Atletico Madrid defender Godin in recent years, with both players fighting it out for the La Liga title.

Godin’s Uruguay at the current Copa America champions but a loss to tournament favourites and group leaders Argentina means they fall to third place in Group B.
