During Gervinho’s time as an Arsenal player, the Ivory Coast international failed to live up to the expectations of the Emirates faithful.
However, it seems that experience hasn’t dented the Roma winger’s confidence, after he made some outrageous demands in order to move to Abu Dhabi side, Al Jazira.
It had been widely expected that the 28-year-old would leave current club Roma in a £10 million deal yesterday, however reports soon suggested the transfer was off.

They report that the Ivorian’s asked for a helicopter to be at his disposal around the clock, accommodation for his whole family, a private beach and an unknown number of plane tickets to the Ivory Coast.
Gervinho has enjoyed a resurgence in form since leaving North London, having scored seven goals in 34 outings for Roma last season.
However, if these demands are accurate, the player may struggle to find pastures new this summer…
