But they won’t want to see this dreadful open goal miss in Brazil’s 1-0 defeat to Colombia at the Copa America last night.
The Hoffenheim midfielder has an £18million price tag and his agent confirmed earlier this week that he will move to England once he finishes representing Brazil over in Chile.
United and Liverpool appear to be most interested in the attacking midfielder – who scored seven Bundesliga goals last season – and will be monitoring him closely for the Selecao.
But they probably pulled their money off the table after seeing his part in the loss which leaves Brazil’s Copa challenge hanging by a thread going into their final group game.
