Irish side Cabinteely FC Tell Mario Balotelli to Stop Asking Them For a Game

Irish side Cabinteely FC went viral yesterday after sending a brilliant tweet about Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli ‘trying’ to get a game for them.

The League of Ireland First Division team posted a hilarious tweet telling the Italian to stop texting them to get involved in their game against Athlone Town on Friday.

And fans have seen the funny side of it – with the tweet getting almost 600 retweets so far.

This is what Cabinteely had to say about Balotelli:

Then again, it doesn’t really reflect well on Conor Foley, John McKeown, Ger Pender and Shane O’Neill – the club’s current hitmen – who have managed just seven goals between them for the First Division basement boys.

As for Balotelli, he’s an easy target after a terrible first campaign at Liverpool which saw him score just four goals for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

And if the Anfield side want to get rid of Balotelli then they can count Cabinteely out of the list of potential suitors.
