And despite recently completing his first full-season in the Premier League, Sanchez is still raring to go as he showed in Chile’s opening match of this year’s Copa America.
Sanchez was an integral piece of the Chile jigsaw during an impressive World Cup showing in Brazil 12 months ago and the forward is clearly looking to replicate that form in the South American competition.
Chile played their opening game against an impressive Ecuador side last night and won 2-0 thanks to a penalty from Juventus midfieler Arturo Vidal and QPR frontman Eduardo Vargas – who was assisted by Sanchez
And despite failing to get on the scoresheet, the ex-Barcelona ace was as impressive as ever.
