VIDEO: Arsenal Players Make Fun Of Mesut Ozil And Mathieu Flamini With The Club’s Biggest Bromance Award

With the Premier League season all but a distant memory, Arsenal have been posting clips of their end of year alternative awards and today it was the turn of “biggest bromance.”

The winners of course were Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil and France’s Mathieu Flamini who are seemingly inseparable both on and off the pitch.

Laurent Koscielny, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all speak about the pair during the short video.

And the duo take some serious pelters from their teammates regarding their “strong” friendship.

Arsenal striker Welbeck jokes that the two are closer than Manchester United twins Fabio and Rafael Da Silva, who he played alongside at Old Trafford.

Oxlade-Chamberlain also weighs in, claiming that Flamini was so desperate to become Ozil’s friend after he signed from Real Madrid that he latched on “like a leach.”

Both players are yet to respond to the roasting from their Arsenal teammates… maybe they’ll just enjoy a cosy night in together instead!
