VIDEO: Irish Reporter Asks Alex Pearce If He’d Like To “Rear-End” Roy Keane

An Irish reporter was left red-faced after asking Alex Pearce a question which came out completely wrong.

After Republic of Ireland boss Martin O’Neill was involved in a car crash in Dublin this week in a vehicle driven by his assistant Roy Keane, the media were looking for any further information on the incident.

It was reported that the crash came about when the car that the management team were travelling in was “rear-ended” by another motorist.

And it prompted one journalist to come away with one of the most bizarre sounding questions you are ever likely to hear a football player being asked.

On Wednesday, Reading ace Pearce spoke to the media after training.

Pearce explained that the lads had “banter” about the incident, but it was no big deal and that everyone was fine.

Then came the killer question from the dozy reporter: “Would you like to rear end Roy Keane?”
