Various reports this week have claimed Chelsea striker Diego Costa is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and that he is looking for a quick return to Atletico Madrid.
This departure would leave a gaping hole in Jose Mourinho’s attack, however, Costa’s teammate Loic Remy has responded in the best way possible… by scoring a great goal.
Chelsea took on Sydney FC in a post-season friendly today, and Remy showed he still has a keen eye for goal, despite enduring an injury-plagued end to last season.
The France international receives the ball on the edge of the box before cutting inside and expertly finding the top corner of the goal:

Could the Blues really defend their Premier League title without Costa in the team?
Is Loic Remy good enough to lead the line for the reigning champions?
And if Costa does depart, will Mourinho once again dabble in the transfer market to strengthen his squad?
All questions which will have to be answered before a ball is kicked next term…
