VIDEO: MLS Stars Get A Welcome Break From Sprinklers As Temps Hit The High 80s

Play was disrupted at Sporting Park during Saturday night’s instalment of MLS action.

In the 47th minute of the Colorado Rapid’s clash with Kansas City, the pitch sprinklers kicked in halting the play until they were turned off again.

It was a welcome break for the players though with temperatures reaching the high 80s.

Some stars were even seen using the water to cool themselves down during the short interval.

You can check it out in the video below.

The home side would run out eventual 2-0 winners to move up to fourth spot in the Western Conference.

But the Colorado Rapids continue to toil at the foot of the table with just 15 points from their opening 17 games.
