Chinese Mascots Ignore Isco and Toni Kroos So They Can Walk Out With Cristiano Ronaldo

Two cheeky Chinese mascots made sure they got close to their favourite player when Real Madrid faced Inter Milan in Guangzhou earlier today.

The sides squared off in the International Champions Cup in front of nearly 60,000 fans inside the Tianhe Stadium.

And it was an opportunity for the country to get a glimpse of the Spanish and Italian giants they usually have to admire from afar.

So you can understand why these two mascots decided to break away from their designated player to get close to their star man – and it won’t surprise you to see Cristiano Ronaldo was the one getting all of the attention.

The two Chinese kids ignored Isco and Toni Kroos in the line-up and instead stood next to Ronaldo as the teams lined up for pre-match pleasantries.

The brilliant moment was caught on camera with Ronaldo standing next to four children before kick-off:

It’s heartwarming stuff from children who obviously idolise the Portuguese superstar.

China will get one more chance to see Ronaldo and Madrid in action when they take on AC Milan on Thursday.
