PIC: So, It Appears Diego Simeone Goes To The Gym…Every Single Day

We all know Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is one of the most highly-rated managers in world football due to his impressive achievements in the Spanish capital over the past few years.

But despite winning a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey and reaching the Champions League final in the last three seasons, it appears ‘Cholo’ still finds more than enough time to hit the gym. Every day, by the looks of it.

It’s should come as no surprise that Simeone – famed for his side’s high work rate and fitness levels – is still in decent decent nick, but we didn’t expect him to look like a middleweight boxer in his pomp.

The above photo was taken earlier this week as Atletico continue their pre-season preparations and he certainly puts his Real Madrid counterpart Rafa Benitez to shame!

I wonder if the Atletico directors have ever considered asking the former Argentina international to take on the role of player-manager?

On this evidence, they definitely should!
