Twitter Reacts As Fabian Delph Allegedly Walks Into Manchester City’s Training Ground

Pictures have emerged this afternoon showing what appears to be Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph entering Manchester City’s training ground.

Last week Delph committed his immediate future to Villa making it seemingly unlikely that the 25-year-old would be moving this summer.

However if the pictures are proven to be of the England international, Villa fans will feel understandably jilted by one of their most important players.

City have made no secret of their interest in signing Delph with Manuel Pellegrini having already secured the services of ex-Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling.

However, while the introduction of Sterling was expected, if Delph does move to Manchester it will prove to be an epic U-turn.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood was looking to build his team around young players of Delph’s calibre.

And with the club also in talks with Liverpool about the sale of star striker Christian Benteke, the squad could soon look very depleted.
