Liverpool youngster Jordan Ibe looks to be very much a part of manager Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the future.
After he was recalled from his loan spell at Championship side Derby last season, Ibe has impressed on his return and is making quite the impression on the first team.
The 19-year-old Englishmen is currently on tour with the Liverpool squad as they continue their pre-season preparations in Australia.
And Ibe has been getting friendly with some of the local inhabitants Down Under.
The Reds starlet posted a video on Instagram of a baby kangaroo hopping around at the team’s training base.
However, Ibe didn’t seem to want to get too close to his new pal, and ran away when little skippy aproached him.
He captioned the video: “It started going the wrong direction.. So I kept it moving LOL.”
The Anfield support will be hoping to see a much braver side to the young winger when the new Premier League season gets under way.
