Simon Makienok impressed his new Charlton team-mates at the weekend as he nailed his initiation to the squad.
The Danish striker is preparing for the new Championship season after moving from Palermo to The Valley on a season-long loan.
As is the norm with new signings at most clubs, Makienok was forced to sing a song in front of the whole squad as part of his initiation.
But don’t expect an awkward rendition of David Guetta or Jason Mraz like we’ve seen before.
Makienok pulled out his phone and led a rendition of Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics.
And Annie Lennox would sure be proud of this effort.
It was recorded by Charlton winger Callum Harriott and gives a great insight into the feel-good factor around Guy Luzon’s squad ahead of the new campaign:
Fans will be hoping Makienok can hit all the right notes on the pitch too.
