Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj may find first team opportunities hard to come by this season, meaning a reported loan deal to Sunderland is looking increasingly likely.
However, the Belgian international has appeared to scoff at these rumours via social media today, plunging his Old Trafford career into uncertain waters.
Januzaj burst onto the scene during David Moyes’ reign as United boss and the youngster produced several impressive performances despite the team floundering as a unit.
However, since Moyes was sacked and replaced by Louis Van Gaal, Januzaj has failed to replicate the form which had every country in Europe wondering if he qualified to play for them.
And to ensure Januzaj doesn’t stagnate on the bench while the likes of Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Memphis Depay take all the glory, United were reportedly looking to loan the 20-year-old to Sunderland.
But it now appears that any prospective deal is off the table, at least if Januzaj’s latest Tweet is related to the transfer saga…

Januzaj has only started 22 games since he graduated to the first-team in 2013, while he has came on as a substitute 23 times during his United career so far.
