Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been rocked by yet another injury setback after the club confirmed the midfielder had suffered a hairline fracture in his left fibula.
The injury was reportedly caused by a tackle from defender Gabriel in training and Gunners fans have been targeting the Brazilian on social media ever since.
Some supporters have even been sending the former Villareal centre-back DEATH THREATS following the tackle, which could see Wilshere undergo surgery and miss the first several months of the new campaign.
I knew Gabriel wasn't cut out for this level, probably still can't speak a word of English.. sell him @Arsenal

Fuck off Gabriel. I'd sell the shit cunt.

I expect to see Gabriel shipped off to Barnet by tomorrow morning. Get out of my club @gpaulista5

But, thankfully, not all Arsenal fans are absolute lunatics like the ones above, and many have stuck up for Gabriel, who has struggled to break into the first-team since arriving in January.
People actually sending death threats to Gabriel, wow we really do have the worst fans sometimes

People threatening Gabriel Paulista over jack Wilshire' injury embarrass us the true football and arsenal fans.

All you Arsenal fans who are abusing Gabriel are hypocrites! It was a training injury! Would you rather Gabriel train like a flop? #afc

How can some Arsenal 'fans' be giving Gabriel abuse for injuring Wilshere, embarrassed to have supporters like that supporting my club.

What do you think about Gabriel’s treatment? We reckon it’s completely out of order. Training injuries are just part and parcel of being a footballer and these so-called Arsenal fans need to be a bit more realistic and respectful to one of their own players.
