Scott Brown has hit back the Qarabag players who complained about his post-match celebrations in Azerbaijan.
The Celtic captain, 30, got up close and personal with the other side following the final whistle, and appeared to gloat about knocking them out of the qualifying rounds.
Brown was blasted by some of the opposition for his over-the-top screams following the Hoops’ 1-0 aggregate win.
But Broony took to Instagram today to share his delight at making some new ‘friends’ after the tie, posting a newspaper article about the fuming Qarabag players.
He captioned the post: “Still making friends all over the world. Pen pal friends.”
Ronny Deila’s side will now face Swedish outfit Malmo in the play-off round for a place in the Champions League group stages.
The first ties will take place on August 18 and 19 with the return legs scheduled for August 25 and 26.
The Scottish champions will now turn their attentions to back-to-back away fixtures in the league against Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock before their next European test.
