Celtic Supporters Have Hilarious Response to Knife-Wielding Fenerbahce Fans’ Threats

Celtic will travel into the hostile atmosphere of the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium when they take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League this season.

Ronny Deila’s men suffered a shock Champions League play-off exit defeat to Malmo on Wednesday and fell into Europe’s second competition as a result.

But they’ve arguably been handed a Champions League draw by pulling the Turkish giants, Ajax and Molde out of the hat for the group stages.

Much is made of Celtic’s home advantage, but they’ll travel to Istanbul as serious underdogs.

And that’s not just because Fenerbahce have Robin van Persie, Nani and Lazar Markovic in their ranks.

No, it’s because the Turkish outfit have some crazy fans – if you don’t believe us, take a look at this video:

Impressive, isn’t it?

It should be a hostile atmosphere on and off the pitch for Celtic and the club’s supporters – but not that they’re scared.

Some Fenerbahce fans dug out the biggest knife from their cutlery drawer and sent a message to Hoops supporters planning to make the trip to Istanbul:
